DIGI is excited to share some wonderful news!
The CLARIAH-VL consortium, which is represented by more than 20 research groups from the universities of Ghent, Antwerp, Leuven and VUB, and the Dutch Language Institute, has been awarded the important FWO International Research Infrastructure grant with the project "CLARIAH-VL: Advancing the Open Humanities Service Infrastructure". The project will be funded from 2021 to 2024 and aims at developing and enhancing tools, practices resources and services for researchers in many fields of the humanities.
DIGI is also part of the consortium and will use the funds available to keep working on new tools and services for the scholars working with the research group. The main focuses will be in Natural Language Processing applications, such as Named Entity Recognition, Text mining, Citizen science projects and Digital text analysis.
We look forward to further developing DH at the VUB, and making the digital community grow! If you want to collaborate with DIGI, do not hesitate to contact us!
